In his letter to the church in Philippi, Paul the Apostle wrote, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." This is the firm belief of the men and women of the Emergency Ministry Service, an outgrowth of the Church on the Rock. Their mission is to be an expression of Psalm 46:1, in which the anonymous author wrote "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in time of trouble."
The mission of these Christian men and women of action is to be an instrument of that divine help for those in emergency need.
