Operated and managed by Dr. Sarbjeet K. Sran MD, Allergy & Asthma Associates is a clinic that focuses on the detection, diagnosis and treatment of allergies, asthma and other sinus and respiratory disorders in patients of all ages.
Dr. Sran’s priority is to improve patient’s quality of life through prevention, treatment as necessary and education. Dr. Sran and his associates take their Hippocratic oath seriously, and are committed to providing the best possible level of patient care, designed to need the individual needs of the patient.
The causes behind allergies and asthma are not always immediately apparent, and unless the underlying cause is determined, any treatment is a "temporary fix" at best. Dr. Sran and his associates focus on assisting the patient in discovering the root cause of his/her respiratory disorder, and come up with a customized course of treatment.
Dr. Sran earned is undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi, completing a three-year residency in pediatrics at the University of Kentucky in 1986. In 1994, Dr. Sran was the recipient of a Fellowship in pediatric and adult allergy and immunology from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and is board certified as a respiratory specialist.
Dr. Sran opened her practice in 1994; she is assisted by Amy Thompson, who has been a certified physician’s assistant since 2002. She has been with Allergy and Asthma Associates since February of 2003.
Dr. Sran’s clinical staff includes two full-time and two-part time registered nurses. The senior RN is a Certified Asthma Educator with the State of North Carolina, and is available for seminars, lectures and workshops.

Current and prospective patients may request appointments through a convenient web form online 24 hours a day. Allergy & Asthma Associates is opened from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday and 8 AM to 12 noon on Wednesdays.
