Tammy Weyandt and Anna Willson first take time to find what that patient needs and their dental issue are, what they like and dislike about their smile, and how their previous treatment addressed or failed to address those needs. Working together, the dentist and the patient then determine a proper course of treatment that will produce the desired results.

Among the innovative and modern treatments offered is the Zoom!TM In-Office Whitening System. This safe, painless and effective method of tooth whitening takes little more than an hour, and produces dramatic results with a single treatment. As such, it is an excellent alternative to cumbersome process of wearing trays over a series of days or even weeks.

The Zoom!TM treatment consists of the application of a proprietary gel to the teeth, which is then activated by a specific type of light. The procedure then ends with a five-minute fluoride treatment. Typically, a patient’s teeth will become six to ten shades whiter than before. All that is required afterwards are occasional “touch-up” treatments, and the results last for years.

Dr. Weyandt and Willson also offer Invisalign®, the alternative to braces for those seeking to straighten misaligned teeth. Invisalign® consists of a number of clear, removable aligners that are custom-fitted to the individual’s teeth. They are comfortable, and unlike traditional metal braces, non-abrasive, and easy to remove at mealtimes. Patients undergoing Invisalign® treatment also spend far less time in the dental chair – all that is usually required are visits every six weeks or so for check ups and adjustments. While not all patients can benefit from Invisalign® technology, it’s definitely worth getting an evaluation in order to learn more.

Dr. Tammy Weyandt is a native Texan with an undergraduate degree in biology. She obtained her DDS degree in 1998 from the Texan A&M University Baylor School of Dentistry, and spent her residency at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she had the opportunity to work with special needs patients. Since receiving her DDS degree, Dr. Weyandt has taken over 500 hours of continuing education courses in order to stay current with the latest advances in dental care.

Dr. Anna Willson is from Poland, and also completed her dental degree at Baylor and her residency at the Dallas Veteran’s facility. Her goal is to provide her patients with the most comfortable experience while offering the latest treatments modern technology can provide.

Both are members of the American Dental Association, and donate their skills to several programs that make dental care available for the many people in their own state and abroad who otherwise have no access to dental care.
