Guildford Orthodontic Centre offers complete orthodontics for everyone from children up through adults. This orthodontic practice is run by two certified orthodontic specialists: Dr. Aly Kanani and Dr. Paul Pocock. Dr. Aly Kanani, a certified Orthodontist Specialist, received his B.S. in Physiology and his Masters of Science from the London School of Economics in London. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree as well as his Masters in Education at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also close to completing his Masters in Public Health from John Hopkins University. In addition to all of these distinguished degrees, Dr. Kanani has a M.S. in Orthodontics and a Specialty Certification in Orthodontics. Dr. Kanani’s research has even been publishedin the premiere journal of orthodontics in North America.
Dr. Paul Pocock graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital in London, England, and has worked in several of London’s hospitals, as well as throughout England, Australia, and the Interior of B.C. as a general dentist. Dr. Pocock completed his Graduate Orthodontic program in 1989, and has held many honorable positions, including President of the Orthodontic Society of B.C. Dr. Pocock’s research has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and he has lectured around the world.
Dr. Aly Kanani, Inc., and Associates deal in several types of orthodontics, including Invisalign and braces for all ages. At the Guildford Orthodontic Centre, state of the art technology is used in the different type of braces including miniature self-ligating braces, Invisalign braces, as well as a variety of orthodontic appliances.
