Dr. Harb’s practice appears to be geared toward the dental care of younger children. In fact, the website has numerous links and pages that would be a more interest to children, including information on Dr. Harb’s ongoing motivational program for youngsters, the Cavity Club. Children who are free of cavities at their yearly or biannual checkup are entered into a drawing for prizes. The "Activities" page on Dr. Harb’s website also features links to several arcade-style video games that children can play online.
In addition to the children’s activity page, Dr. Harb’s website includes an extensive Patient Education pare where prospective clients can learn more about the many dental procedures. These include whitening, bonding, veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays, bridges and treatment for tempro-mandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. This latter condition is rare in children, but all-too-common in older adults. It is caused primarily by bruxism, or teeth grinding, which wears away the teeth and causes malocclusion, or misalignment of the jaw – which in turn, can cause an entire range of other ailments.
Dr. Harb’s practice is fully staffed; he is assisted by two licensed dental hygienists, one of whom specializes in patient education and the other who assists in the front office. Dr. Harb also sponsors the St. Rose Academy Soccer Team.
