Dr. Mark Paxton received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and completed a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Washington in 1980. He did a one year residency at the University of Washington Hospital and then practiced general dentistry in the United States Air Force, including a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at Travis Air Force Base. His training in orthognathic reconstructive surgery is world-class. Dr. Paxton especially enjoys providing therapy and care to children and adults with cleft lip or palate and other craniofacial deformities.
Dr. Melanie S. Lang graduated from Union College and received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1991 from the University of Nebraska. She did a one-year residency in hospital dentistry at the University of Washington and completed a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Nebraska. She completed a six-year degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida in 1996. She is especially interested in facial cosmetic surgery and has received advanced training in this demanding field.
Dr. Bryan W. McLelland graduated from the University of Alberta and received his Doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Alberta in 1995. He then completed a one-year residency at Denver General Hospital before beginning a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. McLelland has done private practice in Illinois before joining Spokane Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is especially interested in dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and surgery to repair trauma.
