Health care for children is a field requiring specialized training and a great deal of sensitivity to the needs of children. This is what Dr. Emilio Del Valle MD offers at Del Valle Pediatrics. My paying close attention to what their young patients are telling them, Dr. Del Valle and his associates are able to provide accurate diagnoses upon which the most effective treatments are based.
The goal of the staff at Del Valle Pediatrics is to provide the best possible healthcare to those who are most vulnerable in society, including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment and follow-up care as required or deemed advisable and/or necessary.
In addition to preventive care and the treatment of fever and various infections as well as the normal range of childhood disorders, Del Valle Pediatrics offers immunizations and flu shots, treatment for insect stings and animal bites and contact with plants such as poison ivy and poison oak, and physical exams for school and sports activities. There are also minor emergency services available.
Dr. Emilio Del Valle is a Board Certified Pediatrician who earned his medical degree at the Central Eastern University School of Medicine. Afterwards, he completed his pediatric residency at New Jersey’s University of Medicine and Dentistry and Children’s Hospital.
New prospective patients can save time by downloading new patient forms, including Diagnosis and Treatment Authorization, Medical history, New Patient Registration and Information Requests right there on the Del Valle Pediatrics website. Patients are advised that an ID card, drivers license, Social Security Card and most importantly proof of insurance is required before patients are seen. Additionally, adults bringing children of whom they are not the parent of legal guardian must provide evidence of authorization, i.e., written consent of the child’s legal guardian. Patients who fail to show up for appointments are subject to a cancellation fee.
Del Valle Pediatrics is located just off the Metro Parkway in Fort Meyers; office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. El doctor Del Valle tambien se hablan espanol.
