Dr. Evans received his medical degree from the University of Arizona, and went on to acquire training in orthopedic surgery at the University of California – Davis. He did an orthopaedic residency at the University of Utah, and did fellowships in joint replacement surgery and shoulder and knee surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of many professional associations. Dr. Evans is truly a premier clinical provider of orthopaedic medical services.

 

Dr. Evans’ philosophy is that the patient’s medical needs should be met with the least invasive option possible. He is a conservative surgeon, attempting first to treat orthopaedic conditions and disorders with medicine, physical therapy, nutrition and nutritional supplements, vitamins, and other non-invasive treatment methods. However, not all orthopaedic conditions will respond adequately to these simpler methods, and when it is truly called for, Dr. Evans and the Salt Lake Orthopaedic Clinic are extremely well-equipped to provide the full gamut of orthopaedic surgeries, in a modern clinical atmosphere with the most up-to-date equipment and facilities available.
