Women’s healthcare needs can be unique and the Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen employs only women to address those needs. They are equipped to perform a number of procedures, providing various services that are specific to women including abnormal and normal pap evaluation and treatment, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive counseling, fertility counseling, laparascopic surgery, menopause care and many other services.
Many expectant mothers visit the center for their outstanding midwifery services.
Certified nurse midwives are preferred by many expectant mothers in providing a more natural alternative to the birthing experience. Midwives have an excellent safety record and can assist the birthing process in a more natural and healthy way both for the mother and the baby, often eliminating some of the more invasive birthing techniques such as Cesarean birth.
The Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen currently has 5 physicians and 4 certified nurse midwives that are experts in obstetrics and prenatal care. They all believe in the importance of making your experience with them the most personalized possible from your first visit to post delivery as they all share the same enthusiasm for their profession.
When you have your birthing experience at the Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen your accommodations are designed with your comfort first. The hospital rooms are set up so that each room will be private with DVD players, refrigerators, jetted tubs and many other amenities. Should your newborn need additional care there is the Special Care Nursery.

Because of the outstanding care that so many women receive from the Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen, many of their patients are referrals from past patients.
