For over 90 years, the Krienen family has owned and operated the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, which is now under management of the third generation of Krienens and operates in Wilmington and New Castle.
Starting out as Krienen Brothers Funeral Home in 1917, the family opened a second location only three years later. In 1971, the company acquired the Griffith Funeral Home and changed the name of the company to its present form to reflect this merger.
