Heritage Memorial offers a variety of plans to meet your funeral needs. For those thinking ahead, they offer a selection of pre-need packages. For more urgent cases, they have an immediate need package which includes the services of the funeral director and staff, the transfer of the body to their facility, preparation of the deceased, the filling in of all the necessary paperwork such as the death certificate, assistance with filing for benefits through Social Security or the Veterans Administration, refrigeration and care of the body, the cremation process itself, and a temporary urn for the ashes. Clients may provide their own casket or container, or Heritage Memorial can provide an alternative container for a small additional fee.
Cremation can generally be arranged within three to five days after receipt of the proper authorizations. A 24-hour priority service is also available with an additional charge. In addition to the cremation services, Heritage Memorial also provides a selection of urns, with some intended for permanent display in a memorial, and others designed to be used to scatter ashes. You may of course use your own urn; urns can be pre-purchased and stored by Heritage Memorial for future use.
